2.Co-ordination with other departments of the Division and adjoining Divisions regarding freight movements.

3.Monitoring of Inward and Outward freight traffic.

4.Proper Utilization of assets viz locomotives and wagons to improve freight loading.

5.Meeting with Merchants, Traders and Civil Administration for improving loading.

6.Monitoring coaching operation and its punctuality.

7.Running of special trains and ensuring punctuality of commuter trains.

8.Time Table preparation along with processing of passenger trains proposed by Public representatives and general public.

9.Management of coaching stock including POH.

10.Planning of diversion/cancellation/ short termination/regulation during exigencies.

11.Scheduled Safety Inspections of Yard, Stations, Running Room, Lobby, Foot Plate & Surprise Inspections and ensuring supply of safety equipments to all stations in the division.

12.All IT issues such as FOIS, COIS, ICMS.
