East Coast Railway General Manager Shri Roop Narayan Sunkar inspected Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Road- Kerejang Railway Section and reviewed various ongoing projects and infrastructural works in the region.
Apart from this, Shri Sunkar inspected the traffic facility works to various Railway sidings of different industries like M/s Vedanta Ltd. siding at Brundamal, Bhusan Power & Steel Ltd. siding at Lapanga, M/s Aditya Aluminium Ltd. siding at Lapanga along with Freight examination facility with ROH facility at Sarla areas.
General Manager also inspected Sambalpur- Sambalpur City - Maneswar Doubling works of Talcher-Sambalpur Rail Line Doubling project.
The Railway infrastructural projects in the region are vital of Gati Shakti which are being monitored directly by Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji.
Shri Vaishnaw also advised Railway officials to take necessary steps for early completion of the ongoing projects so that train traffic will be hassle free.
During the inspection General Manager was accompanied by Shri Vineet Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Sambalpur and other Senior officials from Head Quarter and Sambalpur Division.
