More than 70% votes were casted in favour of proposed design for redevelopment of Cuttack Railway Station which was posted in Twitter by Hon'ble Minister of Railways.
Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon'ble Union Minister for Railways had uploaded the design of Cuttack Railway station in twitter and had asked for the public opinion on the proposed design.
The design was inspired on the theme of Cuttack Barabati Fort architecture.
Hon'ble Minister had requested public to give rating on the design and based on the public rating further course of action would be taken. Public were requested to give maximum support to this new way of thinking.
About 74% vote rating of Very Good & Excellent were in favour of the design, uploaded by Railway Minister.
This design is finalized by the Honorable Minister after such a massive response from the public.
