FULFILLING THE ASPIRATION OF PASSENGERS:
FIRST CLASS AC COACH SERVICE IN HIRAKHAND & PURI-DURG EXPRESS.
● Coach Composition of Puri-Durg-Puri Express and Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, revised.
● Composite Coach of both 1st & 2nd AC in Puri-Durg-Puri Express will be replaced by First Class AC Coach.
● Composite Coach of both 1st & 2nd AC to be added in Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express.
● Hon’ble MPs demanded to provide 1st AC Service in above trains.
It has been decided to provide AC First Class Service in Puri-Durg-Puri Express and Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express w.e.f. first week of March, 2023. Augmentation of AC First Class Service in the above trains will provide benefit to the passengers of Northern AP, South & Western Odisha people.
Hon’ble Members of Parliament during the Divisional Committee Meetings of MPs had demanded to provide 1st Class AC service in the above trains. Keeping in view the demands and aspirations of the public, especially passengers; East Coast Railway has decided to provide 1st Class AC Service in the above trains.
18425/18426 Puri-Durg-Puri Express from Puri w.e.f. 3rd March 2023 and from Durg w.e.f. 4th March, 2023 will be augmented with one AC First Class Coach by replacing the composite Coach of both 1st & 2nd AC.
18447/18448 Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express from Bhubaneswar w.e.f. 7th March 2023 and from Jagadalpur w.e.f. 8th March, 2023 will be augmented with one AC First Class Coach.
