Apart from creating additional berths for the passengers by running of Summer Special trains, it has been decided to increase composition of some popular trains by augmenting additional berths. Recently, ECoR has augmented additional AC-3 tier coaches permanently in Jodhpur, Sai Nagar Shirdi & LTT (Mumbai) bound trains from Puri and Chennai, Nizamuddin & Sai Nagar Shirdi bound trains from Visakhapatnam from the first week of April 2015.
These apart, it has also been decided to augment one AC-3 tier coach permanently in 12145/12146 LTT-Puri-LTT Express via Sambalpur with immediate effect.
