           Senior officials of East Coast Railwaycomprising Vigilance, Commercial and RPF Departmentsin a joint drive inspected all the important Stations over its jurisdiction thoroughly to create awareness among public and checkvulnerable Mass Contact Areas for three days starting w.e.f. 1stFebruary, 2018.

           Senior Deputy General Manager of East Coast Railway Sri H. K. Dutta along with Principal Chief Commercial Manager Sri Ajay Kumar Behera and Chief Security Commissioner Sri Atul Pathak conducted surprise checks at Bhubaneswar covering Booking Office, Parcel Office, Ticket Collector Office and Catering Stalls. Similar checks have also been conducted at Puri, Cuttack, Khurda Road, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Rayagada, Sambalpur, Titlagarh, Mahasamund, Balangir and Baragarh Road over the East Coast Railway by the team of above three departments.

           The Vigilance Helpline Mobile Number 8455885031 and e-mail available to receive complaints o­n corruption and to improve the quality of service in East Coast Railway. Passengers can now lodge their complaints against any kind of corruption in Railways by dialing or sending mail over the above said numbers/e-mail ID.The Helpline Numbers and e-mail ID are also being displayed in various locations, Stations and over Electronic Visual Display Units and also through Newspapers.
